What are the methods for connecting stainless steel air ducts?
1. Hoop connection
Mainly used for connecting steel plate circular ventilation ducts and spiral ducts. When installing, insert the small opening into the large opening according to the direction of airflow, and use steel hoops to hold the drum hoops at both ends tightly and connect them. Use bolts to pass through the middle of the earrings to fix and tighten.
2. Plug-in connection
Mainly used for connecting rectangular or circular ducts. First make the connecting pipe, then insert it into the ducts on both sides, and then fix it tightly with rivets.
3. Strip connection
Mainly used for connecting rectangular ducts. Insert strips of different forms into both ends of the duct and then compact them.
4. Hose connection
Mainly used for connecting ducts to components. During installation, both ends of the hose are put outside the connected pipe, and then the hose is clamped with a special soft card.
If it is a connection of the smoke exhaust duct, the oil fume exhaust duct should still be welded (especially the horizontal pipe, and the slope of the pipe should be ensured to facilitate oil leakage) to avoid oil leakage and gas leakage to ensure the quality of the project. However, since the oil fume contains high-temperature gas, direct butt welding may also cause expansion and cracking during use. In actual construction, full welding can be done, and it should not be a right-angle flange to ensure that it is not affected by the thermal expansion and contraction of the duct, while also strengthening the duct.
